Privacy Notice

This notice explains the information used when you visit CeraKonfig, create a free account, submit a form, or share and export a coating configuration.

Effective and last updated: August 24, 2026

About this notice

CeraKonfig is a ceramic-coating visualization and planning service. This notice identifies CeraKonfig as the service; it does not name an unverified legal entity.

Account and authentication information

If you create a free account, Netlify Identity processes the email address you submit, an Identity user identifier, confirmation state, authentication timestamps and metadata needed to provide signup, sign-in, email confirmation, password recovery, email change, invitations, and account administration. CeraKonfig does not receive or store your password in configuration exports or browser-local named designs.

Registration records the notice version 2026-08-24 and the time you accepted the Account Terms and acknowledged this Privacy Notice in Identity user metadata. Do not put passwords, tokens, authentication links, firearm serial numbers, government identifiers, payment information, or other sensitive personal information into configuration names or forms.

Cookies and browser storage

Netlify Identity uses browser storage and first-party authentication cookies to maintain sessions. The installed Identity implementation uses the browser key gotrue.user and the first-party cookies nf_jwt and nf_refresh. CeraKonfig temporarily uses session storage to protect and complete authentication callbacks and local storage to preserve an intended return route.

Named configurations are stored under CeraKonfig browser-local keys on the current device. They are not cloud-synchronized or account backups. Signing out hides them without deleting them. Clearing site data in your browser, or using the clear-local-designs control on the Account Deletion page, removes those named configurations from the current browser.

Configurations, sharing, and downloads

While you design, finish selections and component assignments are handled in your browser. A public share link places configuration information in its #ck= URL fragment. Anyone possessing that link can inspect and remix the included design without an account, so treat the link as shareable information.

PNG images, JSON specifications, and portable configuration files are generated for download from the configuration information you choose. They do not intentionally include account passwords, authentication tokens, or account email addresses.

Analytics

The public homepage and configurator load Google Analytics using measurement ID G-Y64LMWNPS5 to measure site use and route activity. Authentication callback fragments are removed before analytics initializes. CeraKonfig does not intentionally send passwords, authentication tokens, complete share fragments, configuration names, exported files, or form field contents to analytics. The Privacy, Terms, Contact, and Account Deletion pages do not load the Google Analytics tag.

Contact and deletion-request forms

Netlify Forms processes and retains submissions made through the contact and fallback account-deletion forms in the project’s Forms dashboard. Contact submissions can include an optional name, required email, topic, and message. Fallback deletion requests include the account email and an optional message. Netlify applies spam filtering, including the configured honeypot and its Forms spam-processing service.

Form content is used to review and respond to the request or to verify account ownership when necessary. No file upload is offered. Do not submit passwords, confirmation or recovery links, tokens, payment details, government IDs, firearm serial numbers, or sensitive personal information.

Service providers

Verified providers involved in the current service include Netlify for hosting, deployments, Identity, Forms, Functions, and related operational processing; Google Analytics for the verified analytics described above; GitHub for source-code and deployment integration; and the spam-filtering service used by Netlify Forms. This describes verified current functions and is not presented as an exhaustive legal subprocessor list.

Account deletion and local data

A signed-in user can request immediate self-service deletion of only the currently authenticated Netlify Identity account on the Account Deletion page. The same page provides a minimal fallback request when sign-in is unavailable; account ownership may need verification.

Deleting an Identity account does not automatically clear named configurations stored in a browser, downloaded files, screenshots, copies of shared links, or form submissions. Browser-local designs must be cleared separately on each device. Files and links already given to other people are outside the current browser’s control.

Hosting logs and diagnostics

Netlify’s hosting, Identity, Forms, Functions, and deployment systems may generate operational logs and request metadata needed to deliver and secure the service. CeraKonfig’s deletion function is designed not to log email addresses, passwords, tokens, or complete request bodies.

Your choices

You can use the basic configurator without an account, decline to create public share links, avoid forms, clear browser site data, sign out, delete your Identity account, or submit a fallback deletion request. For questions about this notice, use the Contact page.

Notice changes

If this notice changes, the effective and last-updated date will be revised. A materially revised notice can require a new acceptance step before future registration.
